New Scientific Publication Born from the COST Insect-IMP Collaboration

We are proud to announce the publication of a new scientific article that emerged from the fruitful collaboration within and beyond our COST Action CA22140 – Insect-IMP.

The paper “BugBook: Genetics of insects as food and feed” that was recently published in the Journal of Insects as Food and Feed provides a comprehensive overview of how genetics can contribute to improving insect production for food and feed. The review covers a broad range of topics across molecular, quantitative, and functional genetics/genomics and gives recommendations for future research”

This publication brings together the expertise of researchers actively involved in the Insect-IMP network as well as external experts and demonstrates the value of interdisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration in advancing the field of insect genetics and sustainable production.
